Grand Finale - Sandown Historics - November 4-6
So the final round of the series is at the biggest event we attend for the year, Sandown Historics. With all the class championships to be decided amongst our biggest grid should be a good weekend of racing. Usually a few NSW Sb cars come down and join the fun and word on the street is Robin Bailey is looking to make a return here.
So who is in?

Approval from minister for finance received and application sent today. I'm a Sandown virgin, but it looks fun... might need another gear or two.

Looks like Alan Jones World Championship winning Williams FW07 will be making a demonstration run as well

Re: Grand Finale - Sandown Historics - November 4-6
No comments on Sandown? Couldn't of asked for better weather...albeit maybe a little too hot? Good racing it seems throughout the field and a great event to round out the year. Shame for so many casualties over the weekend.

Re: Grand Finale - Sandown Historics - November 4-6
The weather sure was good and yes it was hot once we got the chequered flag! The racing was great with good battles right through the grid coming through the field from the back row on Sunday morning was harder then I thought it was going to be.
Yet again it was a very well run meeting.

Re: Grand Finale - Sandown Historics - November 4-6
I had a bit of a diddle and ran a nitrus kit in qualifying, but since I didn't finish the last race I should escape a penalty. Jammy!!
Other than that thought the meeting was the Mutt's Nuts and looking forward to having a knees up on the 26th!
