Re: MG ZR 160 Race cars
Either of these cars would make excellent entry level cars for somebody wanting to jump straight into a race ready car and go racing without all the hassles of building a car from scratch or modifying one. The only issue would be the class they run in. Presumabley they would be Open 1 as they were built as Race cars and were imported as such I presume. If they could be registered that would be great but I am not sure on their status in that regard. Perhaps Jay could clarify that issue for us.
Either way, you could not do better for what I imagine is the asking price.
Incidently Jay, it is obligatory under State law to advertise a car with either a VIN or Reg number and a cash price if advertised in a public media. If they are not registerable then that is not necessary as far as I know but then that would clarify the issue of the Class.
Good luck with your sale of the cars. I am tempted myself if the asking price was right as I am taking far too long to build my MGB/F.

Re: MG ZR 160 Race cars
Thanks for that David, I didn't know you had to supply VIN or price.
I would say fast road, both were road cars, standard engines, gearboxs. The latter one still has ABS.
I have documents for both which shows that could have been driven on the road in the UK.
I have enough spares to back these cars up ie engines, gearboxes, body panels. Plus good contacts in the UK for performance parts and new parts.

Re: MG ZR 160 Race cars
Hope Jase doesn't mind me putting this up. Having driven this car at Phillip Island I thought I would note that on old yokohama's we got down to 2 minutes and there was more in it if we had really played with the set up and thrown newer tyres at it, we were playing with 190 hp Cup F's and we really shouldn't of been able to be with them. There is more in the car and there would of been more in the driver too...
Good luck with the sale
