Re: 2013 Season
Before we released the rounds we were waiting for the Winton and Wakefield rounds to be 100%. Which from yesterday they are.

Re: 2013 Season
I'm getting the word out around the NSW boys to see if we can get a few more at WP this year.
The 'Minister for Finance' & 'Leader of the Opposition' has verbally approved attendance at 4 rounds (Winton, WP, PI & Sandown) plus a FoSC event at Eastern Creek Sth (if work doesn't get in the way). They will all be in the second half of the year so I just have to paint the inside and outside of the house and build a deck before hand After that there won't be any money left for racing. Better start work now.
I wonder if she'll approve a new set of tyres???
See you at Winton in August.

Re: 2013 Season
I have a totally new motor. same RWHP but 10% more torque (and earlier in the revs). My tuning man thinks he can get more horses playing on the dyno.
Taken a bit over 10kgs off (mainly my butt with a bit off the car) and a diff to suit PI. I've move my Dorian timer from the middle of the car to as far foward on the car as I can (has to be worth 1/10th sec). New brakes too.
Time will tell if I go from mid pack to ... mid pack
Sorry Greg, I have spare standard internals but not even a spare casing myself.
See you all at Winton

Re: 2013 Season
Well, my season has finished before it has started. Running a bearing at Winton needs a lot further investigation as to the cause and the cure. Discression being the better part of valor (and if I want to stay married... and alive) I think I had better cancel any thoughts of trying to spend several $000's is out of the question.
Damn, I might even have to go on a holiday without a car trailer behind the car. I could even fly!
Hopefully next year I can get to a few.
Your Northern cousin,
Jonesy

Wow, these older cars sound expensive when they let go.
Sorry to hear you bad luck.
Looking forward to seeing your photos, I bet you got some funny ones.
