Round 5 - Wakefield Park September 14/15
Last year was a good event with lots of track time, a nice early finish and a good night out on the Saturday.
Hopefully I will be in for this one, I thought it was a great track. Bob Rowntree and Damien Meyer will be running Midgets, Damien is trying to get Glenn Taylor in the Peter Bennett B GT V8 down to give the Vic V8's some trouble.
Who else is in?
Any tips for accom too?

I put the word around as soon as a date was posted and got a responce from Colin Dodds with his group T Midget. He said he'd pass it around as well.
I'm in.

I am intending to enter, but "may" be in the UK/Europe on business - just waiting to see what the work schedule is before sending an entry.

At the moment, from the Newcastle & Hunter MGCC's we have Darren Hodgson (he ran with us last year in his F), Matt Blanch (MGB/ Historic), his dad Austin (MGA/ Fast road) and me (Midget/ Fast road).
I have bugged the sydney boys and girls a few times reminding them of the date. Time will tell.

Good work Steve, Damien Meyer is planning on running his red midget aswell. Hopefully you can find some more fast road cars and don't forget to get them to register. Registration forms can be found on the MG Racing website!

Anyone seen entry forms for Wakefield Park yet? There's nothing on the MRA site at the moment.

No one has seen one that I know of Greg but as soon as I get my hands on one I'll put it up on the MG Racing website and will also post a link on this topic.

Hi guys and Gals,
Don't hold your breath yet. I get emails from them whenever an eveent is coming up and entries have just been released for their race meeting the same weekend as Winton FOS. I'd guess it will be a couple of weeks yet.

ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE WAKEFIELD PARK ROUND
$280 for the meeting.
Entries can be done on line. http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au/events/mra-round
There will be trucks (and I mean trucks) racing at the same meeting. Should be interesting... I think
If I survive Winton I'll be there.

Re: Round 5 - Wakefield Park September 14/15
It seems my lack of oil pressure at Winton was more serious that I'd hoped. Bearings.
I don't know if I will be back in time for WP. Maybe PI?
I may still come down to heckle.
S
How do you put pictures in? I keep trying and they're under the size but ????

Re: Round 5 - Wakefield Park September 14/15
Well, my season has finished before it has started. Running a bearing at Winton needs a lot further investigation as to the cause and the cure. Discression being the better part of valor (and if I want to stay married... and alive) I think I had better cancel any thoughts of trying to spend several $000's is out of the question.
Damn, I might even have to go on a holiday without a car trailer behind the car. I could even fly!
Hopefully next year I can get to a few.
Your Northern cousin,
Jonesy
