Re: This forum is pretty Dead
Hi guys (and hopefully some gals),
I check to see if anything is happening on the forum 2 or 3 times a day. I agree that it is pretty quiet. I could put a post in daily but I have nothing to say about nothing so usually say nothing. The MG experience web site forum has some excellent posts on MG Motorsport stuff though there are a few knobs (I wonder if I'm considered one by others).
I was hoping there would be an update on the racing site. There were lots of changes in class rule etc and the first event is quickly approaching. It would be nice to know exactly what the rule mean (the committee note tell you roughly). Everything on it is pertaining to last year's championship.
The calendar on the racing site is still 2013. Are you coming north of the border again? We will have another circuit up my way (Newcastle) by the end of the year or is that too far north for future meetings (I know exactly how far the drive is and I'm hoping to do it 3 times this year).
Bev & I are aiming at Sandown in May (a Winton FOS & October PI).

www.mgexp.com is the web site. you can look but it's worth logging in. go to 'forums' and then 'MG Motorsport'(www.mgexp.com/phorum/list.php?41 is the direct link).
There are some very highly knowledgable and professional people on it from all over the world. As I said, one or two knob but that may include me. There even a topic in the motorsport forum for posting mg racing videos. Great site, everything we wish this site was.

common, you can't have everything. At least the talk.
Every once and a while they have interesting topics and if you know who to watch for (and who to ignore) you can get some interesting stuff... occasionally. It still beats this forum for information and regular input.
