Anyone got any news ?

The video of the 2011 & 2012 season has hit the international MG group.

MG Experience is a web site based in the US but with members from all over the world. In the Forum section under the MG motorsport heading there are some interseting subjects and alot of backgroud knowledge from some old hands. I got an email from them the other day saying I should check out a new video that someone found.

I've got all the parts togeter but still waiting on the machining work to be done on my baby. They said 2 - 3 weeks 3 weeks ago and the latest estemate is at least 3 weeks.   no more racing this year. Maybe next year  

I've heard of a car that has run most rounds this year will be up for sale at the end of the season! :O

 My Midget lives again. My aim for next year at the moment is possibly a Rob Roy Hillclimb, then hopefully a Winton, PI and maybe Sandown. Time will tell. We have to survive a shake down private practice at Eastern Creek in a few weeks time.

Another failure will see a very long 'time out in the naughty corner' for my baby.

I assume from the poor response the Wakefield Park this year it may not make next years calendar. It would be a shame but understandable.

I'm waiting with baited breath for next years calendar to be published:D 

Assuming provisional expressions of interest over the calendar will be talked about on Friday mate. ANything you want to bring up?

A little birdie tells me that a Bendigo-based pedaller has purchased peter Clark's v8 (RV8 based) roadster - complete with TRS Wildcat headed injected engine !!

Expect to see it in Round 1 next year ??

 the big run-in and test day is at Eastern Creek next friday at a private practice day.

As to the calendar, I'll be happy to get to anyevent I can as it will mean the car is still going.

I hope the AGM goes well. The outgoing committee did a good job this last year. I'm glad I live to far away to sit for a position (though tell that to Rodney). Good luck to all.

If you decide to include Wakefield Park in next years calendar, I'll be there (as long as the baby is going).

I have them marked down on our club's Sporting calendar. Are they all rounds of the MG Series? I assume the Winton FOS on 9th & 10th of August is also on the MG Series list.

Since I couldn't get to the AGM, what's the gossip?

Are the committee faces the same as last year or has there been a change/s?

Are there any rule or eligability changes for 2014?

I understand that there is a new Captain and changes to the Committee ..... details still to come.

I assume that all 4 VSCRC Rounds will be a part of the MG Championship, but will leave the selection of additional events to the new Captain/Committee

  well done Cody, At least you have pricked the interest of 3 other people in the Forum. It's the only correspondence that seems to be happening. Life must be really interesting for the rest of the people.

I had some mates over for Oz day. Having a beer or 10 (ruined my power to weight ratio) in the shed we looked at the B body shell hanging up in the ceiling and discussed building a V8. We have most of the bits, now we just need the lottery win to finance the project.

I sent a ton of still photos of the Winton meeting to Rodney last year. I haven't seen any reproduced anywhere. Does anyone want copies? Taken by an ex professional cameraman...

Is anyone doing a compilation video of the 2013 season? I know some OS people that get excited about the videos.
