Ute racing comes to the UK
From a press release regarding the Autosport Show in January 2011 by Britcar who organise a 24hr race for Sports & Saloon cars in the UK...
"...As well as being able to pick up specially discounted tickets for the 2011 Silverstone 24hr race, show-goers will have the chance to see the star of a brand new championship that’s being run by Britcar. Supported by Vauxhall, the new single-make series will be run in Holden’s ‘utes’, which are powered by 6.2 litre, 428bhp V8s, which have no traction control. The cars can be leased, reducing the cost of competing in the series."

Should be good, the Utes here are better racing than the V8 Supercars.
