MG F Cups For Sale
Adrian Akhurst has 2 MG F Cup Cars for sale and available immediately.
Both cars are rare as still in MG F specification and not updated to TF Body shape.
#1 -Yellow - The Ultimate Time Warp!
This car was built in 1998 and only used for 2 seasons of racing before being put in private storage. The car was driven by Ray Armes (how it is currently presented) and current British Touring Car Championship front runner Paul O'Neill. Built in 1998 by Trackspeed it successfully completed the 1998 and 1999 seasons including the Silverstone F1 support races. It was last used by Techspeed in 1999 for Trident Motors (successfull MG Dealership). As the car has been in provate storage it has never been updated to TF shape and is still as per 1999 specifications and livery in the fantastic metallic yellow. The car has never been crashed and has a strong history of podium placings in the MG F series. The car originally cost Trident Motors £24,000 pounds in 1998.
Offers around $38,500
#2 - Red in colour
Originally run by Techspeed UK for Trinity Motors with David Wood (owner of Luffied MG dealership)
It was originally painted silver and won the MG F Challenge in 2000, it was on sold in February 2001 to John Dignam who resprayed it grey.
John was involved in a testing accident later that year, the car was then reshelled utilising a spare Techspeed shell that was originally used by Alistair Lyall in 1998. Upon completion the car was resprayed red as per its current presentation. Car comes with PI Digital logging dashboard and a matching hardtop. Car has been used successfully by Adrian Akhurst in 2010 MG Racing Championship and has done a 1:28.2 at Sandown, July 2010.
