MG Race in Tassie
Your opinion on doing a round at the Nat meet in Tassie over Easter, at Baskerville.
Would anyone be up for this, I would.

I looked at the Historic Meeting at Baskerville but the cost of the trailer (can I pretend it's a caravan... does anyone check them?) makes it very pricey.
Gee the negative vibes we got for suggesting Wakefield Park. Has to be cheaper than Baskerville (and a longer track) but then again, my car is broken and I won't make it either way.
Good luck, I hope you'll all come north some time too.
See you in October (with a 3.9 diff)

I would still like a run at Wakefield, pass on any dates I can run.griffinracing wrote:I looked at the Historic Meeting at Baskerville but the cost of the trailer (can I pretend it's a caravan... does anyone check them?) makes it very pricey.

Baskerville would be good, Looks like a cracking track. The only thing we would have to work out is cost of Spirit of Tassie, I think someone told me it works out about $1400 return with tow car+trailer and a cabin?

Was some talk a few years ago about getting some support from Events Tasmania. Might be worth looking into again.
